Iraq’s oil exports to US rose to 252,000 bpd last week
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced on Sunday that Iraq’s oil exports to the United States rose last week.
The EIA mentioned that the average US imports of crude oil during the past week from eight major countries reached approximately 5.2 million barrels per day, an increase of 510,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week, where US oil imports reached around 4.69 million barrels per day, Shafaq News reported.
Iraq’s oil exports to the United States reached 252,000 barrels per day last week, an increase of 159,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week, when Iraq’s oil exports to the US were 93,000 barrels per day.
The EIA indicated that most of the United States imports of crude oil during the past week came from Canada at an average of 3.73 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico with an average of 353,000 barrels per day, and Colombia with an average of 289,000 barrels per day.
The United States imported an average of 254,000 barrels per day from Saudi Arabia, 147,000 barrels per day from Ecuador, 114,000 barrels per day from Brazil, and 57,000 barrels per day from Nigeria.
According to the EIA, the United States did not import crude oil from Libya or Russia in the past week.
