Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Statistics issued by the State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO) revealed that Iraq produced 4.43 million barrels per day of crude oil in November, down 221 thousand barrels per day compared to October, according to Reuters.

These figures show that Iraq’s oil production is in line with its quota under the OPEC+ agreement for the month of November.

Iraq’s oil production in November decreased by 221 thousand barrels per day compared to the quantities produced in October.

The statistics show that this decline is a result of the reduction of the domestic consumption of crude oil by 92 thousand barrels per day and the reduction in exported quantities by 63 thousand barrels per day.

In October, the Iraqi Minister of Oil, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar, said that his country would abide by its share within the OPEC+ agreement by controlling domestic oil consumption to maintain export capabilities.
