Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Iraqi singer Kadim Al Sahir announced on Saturday that he postponed all his concerts scheduled to be held in the coming period in solidarity with Gaza, which is witnessing intensive bombardment by the Israeli occupation army for more than 3 weeks.

“Due to the tragic circumstances in Gaza, we are unfortunately postponing the concerts in Qatar and Oman,” Al Sahir said via Instagram.

“The price of the tickets sold will be refunded as soon as possible,” the Iraqi singer explained.

“In these circumstances, we can only pray to God to alleviate the suffering of our loved ones in Palestine and to provide them with patience and strength,” Al Sahir added.

A week ago, the Iraqi singer posted a photo of a woman from Gaza holding her child and crying after her house was bombed.

“The tears have dried, but the blood of the innocents in Gaza has not dried. O Lord, be kind to our people in Gaza and include them all with your vast mercy,” the Iraqi singer commented on the photo.

The Israeli occupation forces have been bombing the Gaza Strip for more than three weeks, killing more than 8,000 Palestinians and injuring more than 20,000 others.
