 PowerChina and Sinotech to build 1,000 schools in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi attended the signing ceremony between the Iraqi and Chinese governments on Thursday. The Chinese government signed 15 contracts with Iraq to build 1,000 schools throughout Iraq.

In attendance were Karar Muhammad, Executive Director of the Higher Committee for School Construction in Iraq; Li Daze, Vice President of PowerChina; and Koo Jun, Regional Director of Sinotech. Power China will build 679 schools while Sinotech will build 321 schools.
