Rahma Riad, Hussam Al Rassam to perform at the 25th Gulf Cup in Basra

Basra, Iraq (IraqiNews.com) — Iraqi celebrity singers, Rahma Riad and Hussam Al Rassam, will perform at the 25th Arab Gulf Cup in Basra, Iraq. The football tournament is set to begin on January 6 and finish on January 19.

Iraq will host the event for the second time in its history, following the first in 1979, when it hosted the fifth edition at the Al-Shaab International Stadium in Baghdad and was proclaimed champion.

The Arabian Gulf Cup began in 1970 and is held every two years. The first was held in Bahrain in 1970, while the most recent was hosted in Qatar in 2019.
