20 Iraqi coaches, referees in baseball training

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Twenty Iraqi coaches and referees will undertake an international training course in the Turkish capital in early February 2009, Iraq’s Central Baseball and Softball Federation announced on Thursday. “In response to an official invitation from its Turkish counterpart, the Iraqi federation has decided to send 10 coaches and 10 referees to join the international training course in Ankara from February 3-13,” the president of the federation, Ismail Khalil, told IraqiNews.com. “The federation will name the participants by early next year,” Khalil added.
