Egyptian referee team to lead Iraq-Lebanon match of Sunday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Referees Committee within the Organizing Committee of the Arab Football Cup Championship Jamal al-Ghandour assured that “The Egyptian referee Jihad Abu Jiresha will lead the match between Iraq and Lebanon which will take place next Sunday.

He stated to Iraqi News Friday “The Egyptian referee Sharif Sabah and the Algerian referee Tichadi Abdul Haq as well as the Egyptian referee Jamal Hamoudi will participate in leading the match as assistant referees.”

Ghandour stressed that “The organizing committee nominated the elite referees in Asia and Africa to lead the matches which are expected to witness great competition due to participation of powerful Arab teams in the Championship.”
