Football school opened in Kut

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A football school was opened today to receive 200 athletics, it was  reported here today.  The school is being financed by a Danish organization after receiving approval from the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Football Central Federation.  Director of the school Abbas Ilaiwi told Aswst al-Iraq that the age of the athletes shall be between 13-17 years old.  The school was supplied with all necessary equipment and ten trainers were appointed.  He added that the work in the school shall be voluntary with the aim of developing sports potentialities for this group of age in order to create a new experiment in Iraq and sports base for sports clubs.  Kut, the center of Wassit province, lies 180 km south east of the capital, Baghdad.
