Iraq comes second in Arab judo tournament
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s junior judo team occupied the second rank in an Arab tournament hosted in Lebanon, where 10 teams from Arab countries competed. “Yemen came on top with three gold medals and two bronzes, Iraq second with one gold medal and two silvers while Syria came third with one gold medal, one bronze and one silver,” a source told IraqiNews.com news agency from Beirut. “Morocco ranked fourth with one gold and one silver, Egypt fifth with one gold, Saudi Arabia sixth with two silvers and one bronze, Algeria seventh with one silver and three bronzes, Kuwait eighth with seven bronzes and Jordan and Lebanon without any medals,” he added.
