Iraq to participate in Arab beach volleyball tournament

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s beach volleyball team will participate in an Arab tournament, scheduled to take place in Lebanon in August 2009, according to an official source. “The tournament will be held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, from August 2-10,” the secretary general of the Iraqi Central Volleyball Federation, Fadel Hussein Hijara, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Two male players and two female players will represent Iraq in the event,” he added.
