Iraq wins 6 medals in Qatar track & field events

BAGHDAD /Iraqi News Iraq’s medals rose to six in the Qatar international track & field tournament, capped on Friday evening with participation of 23 world teams, said Iraq’s track & field federation secretary general. “Inaam Khazaal won a gold medal in the women’s 400 meters racing and a silver in 800 meters event while Abdulrahman Adel obtained a gold in the shot put event,” Hussein Jaber told Iraqi News. “Omar Samir won a silver in the men’s 100 meter hurdles racing, Hassan Hussein a silver in the men’s 60 meters freestyle racing while Anwar Zahrawi obtained a bronze in the pentathlon event,” Jaber added.
