Iraq wins Jordan’s equestrian events

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi equestrian was ranked first in the international Jordan-based equestrian events, with the participation of 35 horsemen from Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon. “Riyad Ayyad Radi won the championship, which closed during a late hour on Friday (Feb. 2) evening,” the chairman of Iraq’s Central Equestrian Federation, Haidar Hussein al-Jamili, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The Iraqi team that participated in the championship will stay in the capital Amman to undertake a training camp in preparation for another international championship in Jordan, scheduled to be held next month,” Jamili added.
