Iraqi Striker suffers broken rip
Bahrain (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Striker Humadi Ahmed who represents the Iraqi National Football Team participating in Khaliji 21st held in the Bahraini Capital, Manama, suffered an injury that might prevent him from participation in the semi-final match against the Bahraini team.
The physician of the team Qasim Mohammed stated to Iraqi News “Ahmed was injured in the right rip during the match against Yemen within the third round of the Khaliji Championship.”
“The injury is painful but the absence of swallow will help expedite the healing of the player,” he added.
“The rest of the Iraqi players do not suffer from major injuries,” Mohammed stressed.
The Iraqi team will face its Bahraini counterpart at 7:45 p.m. according to Baghdad local time within the competition of the semi final stage of the Khaliji 21st championship.
