Iraqi team determined to win match against Sudan

Jeddah (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Football Team will meet its Sudani counterpart in the final match within the first round for the qualifiers of the Arab Cup of Nations held currently in the KSA.

The match will be held at 19:45 according to Baghdad Local Time on Abdullah al-Faisal Stadium of Jeddah.

The Iraqi team is determined to win the three points of the match to have the complete scores within the third group after beating the Lebanese and Egyptian teams earlier.

The Sudanese team will come to the match with only four points from a draw with Egypt and a 2-0 win on Lebanon where its only chance to pass for the second round is through beating Iraq.

According to regulations of the championship, only the first team from this group will be qualified to the next round.

The head coach of the Iraqi Team Zico pointed out “We have prepared the suitable plan to play against the Sudanese team and qualify to the next round without any troubles.”

He also criticized the performance of the referees in the championship.
