BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s basketball team will play its first encounter in the Arab tournament against host Tunisia on Saturday, the team’s coach, Nabil Muhammad Abdullah said on Friday. “Saturday will see the start of the tournament which will continue until November 2 in Tunisia, where the hosts, Iraq, Egypt, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Jordan, Morocco, Syria and Libya vie for the title of Arab basketball champion,” Abdullah told IraqiNews.com. Iraq is playing in Group B with Tunisia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia and Libya. The national team had lost its pre-tournament second game on Thursday 69/45 to the Lebanese club al-Hikma. AmR (P) 1
