Iraq’s junior basketballers win Asia title

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s junior basketball team won on Saturday the West Asia tournament after defeating Lebanon 76/69 in a game played in the Iranian capital Tehran, according to an Iraqi sports official. “Iraq won the title after a third win in a row in the tournament hosted by Iran,” Iraq’s basketball association secretary-general Khalid Nijm told IraqiNews.com news agency.
