Iraq’s Kyokushin players not to participate in Gulf tournament
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s Central Kyokushin Federation on Wednesday said that Iraq will not participate in the first Gulf Kyokushin tournament, scheduled to be held in Bahrain at the end of the current year. Citing “administrative reasons,” the federation’s secretary general, Omar Kareem, told IraqiNews.com that Iraqi players will not take part in the games that are due to begin on December 28. “It is difficult to obtain entry visas for the Iraqi team,” Kareem explained.
