Oman beats Jordan within World Cup qualifiers

Follow up (IraqiNews.com) The Omani football team won its match against the Jordanian counterpart (2-1) within the second group of the World Cup qualifiers which comprises teams of Iraq, Japan and Australia.

The Omani players Ahmed Kanu and Joma Darweesh scored for Oman while the Jordanian player Tahir al-Bawab scored for Jordan.

The Omani became second with five points behind Japan which got 10 points.

The Jordanian team became fourth with four points.
