URGENT / Iraq scores West Asia Championship in Free – Romanian Wrestling.

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Wresting Team has won the Championship of the Free and Romanian Wrestling Championship that took place in the Jordanian capital of Amman , the Secretary of the Central Iraqi Wrestling Federation, said on Saturday.   “The Iraqi Wrestling Champions have won 12 golden prizes and two silver prizes in the said competitions, including 7 golden prizes for Free Wrestling and 5 golden prizes and 2 silver prizes for the Romanian Wrestling activity,” Mohammed Abdul-Sattar told IraqiNews.com news agency.   “The 7 Wrestlers, who gained the silver prizes in the Free Wrestling competitions were Anmar Rashid, Ali Walid, Ali Mohammed, Hisham Majid, Farqad Bassam, Mohammed Suheil and Yahya Abdul-Kerim, whilst Wrestlers Mohammed Abbas, Ahmed Juma’a, Hussein Abbas, Ali Nadhim and Adel Ghazi won the gold prizes in the Romanian Wrestling Championships, along with Wrestlers Ayman Hamid and Ali Kalaf, who won the silver prizes.   He stressed that six states had participated in the said competions, who were Iraq , Jordan , Syria , Lebanon , Palestine and Yemen .
