11 killed, 5 wounded in road accidents near Sulaimaniya
SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: Eleven people were killed and five others wounded in two separate road accidents near the Kurdish province of Sulaimaniya on Friday, a local medic said. “Three civilian vehicles collided on a street in the district of Qora Bagh, near Bakhan village, south of Sulaimaniya, leaving 10 persons killed and five others wounded,” Rikot Rasheed, the director of the Sulaimaniya Health Department, told IraqiNews.com news agency. The horrible accident took place as a result of the severe crowdedness on a street leading to the village that was hosting a local festival seeing the participation of thousands, he added. “Another civilian man was killed in accident near Bakhan village,” Rasheed said.
