1st medical conf. opens in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Ministry of Health on Thursday opened its first scientific medical conference in the capital Baghdad under the title ‘Our Physicians: Inexhaustible Wealth.’ “The conference aims at developing scientific abilities… and to foster scientific ties between researchers and academicians in the department and other health institutions,” the director general of Baghdad’s al-Rasafa Health Department, Dr. Ali Bostan al-Fartousi, said during the conference, which was attended by IraqiNews.com news agency. The conference tackled dentistry, nursing and laboratory services and was held under the auspices of the minister of health, Saleh al-Hasnawi. SS (P)/SR 1
