1st Swine flu case in Diala

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: The first case of H1N1 (swine) flu virus has been discovered north of Baaquba city, the Diala province’s health director said on Wednesday. “The patient is five years old,” Dr. Ali al-Timimi told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that the child was with his family in Iran. “The child was exposed to the virus prior to entering Iraq,” Dr. al-Timimi said. He said that the patient is now in hospital.
