5 new colleges, 4 institutes in Kurdistan

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The coming academic year, 2009-2010, will witness the opening of five new colleges and four institutes throughout the Iraqi Kurdistan region. “This comes to improve the educational and economic circumstances in the Kurdish region,” Jawan Jalal Sharif, a director general at the Kurdistan regional Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry, told IraqiNews.com news agency.
