529 road casualties in Missan in 2011

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: The director of Missan‘s Traffic Department disclosed today that 529 casualties took place during 2011. General Zubair Dhiban told IraqiNews.com that 81 citizens were killed and 448 injured in different traffic accidents during the last year. He added that most of the cases were due to excessive speed, wrong driving, and tire blow-outs. Amara, the center of Missan province, lies 390 km south of the capital, Baghdad. 173
