Arbil Int’l Airport resumes flights after 7 hour delay
ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Arbil International Airport on Tuesday resumed operations after a seven-hour delay due to sand storms, said a source from the airport. “The airport received an airplane that came from the United Arab Emirates and landed temporarily at the Sulaimaniya airport due to the bad weather conditions in Arbil,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The pause in Arbil International Airport’s operations started on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m., after severe weather conditions. Arbil city lies 349 km northeast of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 1
