Aswat’s survey: Participants divided by language over Allawi, Maliki, – Abdulmahdi
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Results of the online survey that was conducted by the IraqiNews.com news agency show that the participants are divided by language in deciding who should be the coming prime minister of Iraq, Iyad Allawi, Nouri al-Maliki, or Adel Abdulmahdi. Around 40% of the participants on the agency’s Arabic service voted for Allawi. The participants on the Kurdish service voted by 58% for Abdulmahdi, while 50% of the participants on the English service voted for Maliki. The survey was put on the agency’s website for the period Sept. 13-23, 2010, and that 2,641 readers of the agency’s Arabic, English, and Kurdish services participated in it. MH (P)/SH 1
