Babel Nursing College participates in specialized workshop

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Nursing College took part in the specialized workshop on Nursing Strategy in Iraq. The workshop organized by World Health Organization in cooperation with Kurdish region ministry of health. In a statement issued by the Higher Education Ministry, copy received by IraqiNews.com, the workshop discussed the development of nursing cadres and establishing a higher nursing council comprising of health and higher education ministries. The law to organize nursing profession was also discussed, putting close criteria for nursing behavior. The workshop called for convening more scientific seminars on the local and regional levels to discuss the main obstacles facing the nursing sector in Iraq. RM (TS)/SR 8
