Baghdad celebrates its day

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Baghdad’s mayoralty has begun its celebration of its day with the participation of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. The ceremony was attended by state officials, poets, artists, men of letters and lawyers. More than 50 figures will be paid tribute during the ceremony, according to a statement released by the mayoralty.
