Border area of Khisroi opened before Iraq-Iran pilgrims

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The international borders between Iraq and Iran in the area of Khisroi will be opened before pilgrims on either side, Iranian Fars news agency quoted the mayor of Qasr Shirin city on Friday. “The international borders between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Iraq in Khisroi area were opened on Friday on the occasion of the birth of Imam Ali bin Musa al-Rida,” Bahram Taymoori said. “The Iraqi side is committed to provide security for the pilgrims visiting holy shrines,” he added, expecting Khisroi to receive 10,000 religious visitors on a daily basis.
