Call to return stolen Iraqi antiquities – Suhail

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Deputy Parliament Speaker Qusai al-Suhail called for stolen Iraqi antiquities to be returned during his meeting with Iraqi Tourism and Antiquities Minister, according to a statement issued by his office.  The statement added that Suhail urged Minister Liwa’ Smaisim to follow up the question of the stolen antiquities, and the importance of preserving them.  Suhail stressed the importance of developing tourism sector, particularly religious one, because it represents the civilizational aspect of Iraq.
