Central plan to protect voting centers in Anbar

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: A central plan has been developed to protect voting centers before, during and after the parliamentary election in Anbar province, an electoral official said on Thursday. “The plan has been developed by the electoral commission and the Operations Room in the province to protect 312 electoral centers,” the director of the Independent High Electoral Commission’s (IHEC) office in the province, Khaled Rajab, told IraqiNews.com news agency. Parliamentary election is scheduled to take place in Iraq on March 7. Ramadi, the capital city of Anbar province, lies 110 km west of Baghdad. SS (P)/SR 1
