CPR center opened in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: A cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and intensive care center has been inaugurated in Basra province, a local official said on Thursday. “The center is one of 20 projects financed by Basra’s services and reconstruction support committee,” the secretary of the committee, Tareq al-Moussawi, told IraqiNews.com news agency. According to Moussawi, the cost of the project, which was carried out by a local company in six months, is 459 million Iraqi dinars (ID). The center is located in al-Shifaa Hospital, he added. The Shiite province of Basra lies 590 km south of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. SS (P)?SR 1
