Earthquake in Kirkuk, no casualties

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: An earthquake hit the Kirkuk city on Wednesday dawn, without causing any casualties or damage. “The earthquake started on 3:16 am and continued for three seconds,” a local security source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He explained that the city’s residents got panic although the earthquake caused no casualties or damage. A local medical source confirmed that hospitals in Kirkuk received no medical cases attributed to the earthquake. No information so far about the strength of the earthquake. The oil-rich city of Kirkuk lies 250 km northeast of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 1
