European Union appoints new Representative in Iraq:

  BRUSSELS / IraqiNews.com: The European Union (EU) has appointed a new Chairwoman for its Representation in Iraq , its High Commissioner said on Saturday.   “I am rejoiced to appoint Yana Hiyashkova, as the Chairwoman for the European Union’s Representation in Iraq ,” she said in a statement, adding that Hiyashkova is an EU Parliament’s member.   She said that “EU’s Mission in Iraq is playing a leading Role in implementing the European Union’s police in the country.”   PT / SKH
