Fearing H1N1 pandemic, committee in Basra to slaughter pigs
BASRA / IraqiNews.com: A committee was formed in Basra to conduct campaigns to slaughter pigs in al-Faw suburb, southern Basra, to avoid any possible swine (H1N1) flu cases, a source from the Basra provincial council said on Monday. “The committee will start working this week,” Mahmod Najim Taan told IraqiNews.com news agency. “It will continue working until they can ensure that there are no threats of swine flu,” he said.
