Iraq participates in OPCW meetings in Netherlands

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Labied Abbawi, led Iraq‘s delegation to the Executive Council of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in Netherlands, according to a ministerial statement. “Abbawi led a government’s delegation from foreign and technology ministries to take part in the 62nd Executive Council of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) at The Hague, Netherlands, which will start today (Oct. 5),” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The Iraqi delegation during an unofficial meeting presented a brief on the achievement realized since the last meeting on June 29, 2010 and its efforts to get rid of the chemical weapons remains,” it added.
