IraqiNews.com’s referendum exposes fact that anti-corruption is main demand of youth.
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A referendum, carried out by the independent IraqiNews.com News Agency, on its Arabic and Kurdish sites during the period from Feb. 23 to April 11, has shown that the majority of young readers of its bulletins saw that their main demand was fighting corruption. 27.78% of voters on the Agency’s Arabic bulletin has shown that 1,879 of them called for necessity to fight corruption, whilst 27.43%, demanded permanent jobs and 19.93% confirmed necessity for freedom of expression, along with 9.93%, who voted for immigration abroad by the youth. 6.5% among the youth have voted for marriage as priority, whilst 5.37% saw that contribution in the political decision came first, and 3.03% preferred getting easy credits first. 37.91% of the voters in IraqiNews.com’s Kurdish bulletin, that counted to 421 young persons, have voted for necessity to fight corruption, whilst 20.37% reiterated necessity for freedom of expression, and 13.74% confirmed that their main demand, as young people, were permanent jobs. 9.47% expressed preference for contribution in the political decision, whilst 8.29% saw that main necessity rested in immigration abroad, and 7.81% preferred marriage, along with 2.36% of the remaining voters saw that getting easy credits was the main necessity for the youth.
