Kurdish religious delegation to visit USA

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Kurdish endowment and religious affairs announced that a religious delegation will leave next Tuesday to the United States to attend an international conference on religious co-existence and the role of religion in daily laws, as well the role of media to near viewpoints among religions and achievement of world peace.   In a statement, media directory of the ministry Mirwan Naqshabandi said that a U.S. religious delegation visited the Kurdish region and extended the invitation.   It is the first time that the ministry will participate in such conferences in the United States.   During the five-day conference, the Kurdish delegation will present a paper on religious co-existence in the region, as well as meeting religious and administrative personalities to discuss the religious situation in the Kurdish region.   RM (TS)/SR 433
