Kurdistan donates one million dollars to Turkey
ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The Kurdish government today donated one million dollars to Turkey to help in the recovery effort following the quake, official sources said today. The source told IraqiNews.com that the donation was to help in emergency assistance for the affected people by the earthquake that hit Turkey last Sunday. Turkish Crisis Authority announced today that the toll from the Van earthquake reached 366 dead and 1300 injured. Kurdistan’s Duhuk province and other parts of the region were affected by the earthquake which reached to 7.3 magnitude. RM (TS)/SR 45
