Kurdistan to widely participate in Babylon Festival

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The Kurdistan’s Regional Culture Ministry will send a delegation to Hilla city on Sunday (Oct. 3) to participate in the Babylon Festival.”The delegation will consist of 30 members who will perform a number of cultural activities during the festival,” a source from the ministry said on Friday.He explained that the ministry is keen to stay connected to art and culture in the rest of Iraq. In addition to the many symbols of historical glories, and loyalty to the land and its magnificent past, the Babylon International Festival reflects a further humanitarian aspect, manifested in the wide participation by various artists who flock to the event from all corners of the world, to simultaneously declare in one single voice of true, honest art, their commitment on confronting all kinds of evil, corruption, iniquity, and wickedness in the world for the sake of human integrity, and peoples rights to liberty, progress, and enlightenment. Thus, Babylon International Festival has become an event that reflects this multitude of meanings and symbols of humanity on the land of Babylon, which in every year, has renewed its allegiance and loyalty to our leader, at the same time it renewed its beauty, and glamour.
