Maliki’s time table did not achieve results, 79% of readers say

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: 79% of Arabic IraqiNews.com readers believe that the 100-day time table did not achieve tangible progress in the services fields. In the referendum on the Agency’s electronic site from the period 28 May 2011 to 14 June, 2011, 78.59% (246 participants out of 313) answered  negatively to the question “Do you believe that the 100-day time table announced by Maliki on 28 February last has achieved a tangible progress in services.” In the Yes category 54 participants (17.25%) answered positively, while 13 participants (4.15%) reported they did not know what has been achieved. Out of 38 participants, 27 (71.05%) of the Kurdish publication said that Maliki’s initiative did not achieve tangible results in services. While 7 of them (18.42%) said that the initiative achieved tangible progress, at a time 4 of them (10.52%) could not define the progress made. For the English publication, 192 participants (63.36%), out of 303, said that the time table did not achieve the progress needed. Opposite to that were 70 participants (23.1%), while 41 participants (13.53%) did not define whether the time table achieved its desired results. RM (TI)/SR 448
