Missan population celebrate Quds Day

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com:  Tens of residents of Missan demonstrated today on the International  Quds (Jerusalem) Day, calling for a “serious stand” to support the Palestinian people. Sheikh Mohammed Hassan al-Ka’bi told IraqiNews.com that the demonstrators demanded that the Arab people strongly support the Palestinian people, save and liberate Quds city and adopt an anti-Israeli stand. The demonstration was received by chairman of the provincial council, security commission chief and a number of province council’s  members. The celebration in the Quds Day, which coincides in the last Friday in Ramadan, is a tradition called for by chief of the Iranian Islamic revolution Ayatollah Khomeini to consecrate the idea of Palestine in the Arab minds.
