Najaf medics remove 16-kg tumor from woman’s abdomen

NAJAF / IraqiNews.com: A medical team at al-Sadr Teaching Hospital in Najaf removed a large tumor weighing 16 kilogram from a 42-year-old woman in a major surgery on Thursday, according to the holy Shiite province’s information director. “A team led by surgeon Dr. Raad al-Saffar removed the tumor from the abdomen of a woman local resident of al-Diwaniya in a surgery that took three hours,” Salem Niema told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The woman, the mother of three, is now in a good health,” he added.
