No diseases causing paralysis in children for 12 years – Health Ministry

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Health Ministry’s spokesman Dr.Ziad Tariq declared today that Iraq has been free from diseases that cause paralysis in children for the 12th consecutive  year, stressing that no cases have been registered since 2000. He pointed out that this accomplishment was achieved through continued and organized vaccination campaigns. RM (TP)/SR 2236
