Office to encounter abuse of women in Aqra
NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An office to encounter the abuse of women began work in Aqra, eastern Mosul, the office’s director said on Monday. “The office started working today in Aqra suburb, 70 km to the east of Mosul,” Tahseen Sharo Ahmed told IraqiNews.com. “It aims at disseminating social awareness and defending women’s rights,” he said. “The Ministry of Interior of Kurdistan’s regional cabinet supports this project,” he added.
