Patches of land to be distributed on journalists in all Iraqi provinces next Sunday:
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate has announced that patches of land would be distributed among all journalists, with effect from next Sunday, according to a statement by the Syndicate’s Chairman, Moayad al-Lami on Tuesday. “Our Sindicate shall start distributing special documents for patches of land for all journalists as from next Sunday, following the completion of the measures of the Joint Committee of the Syndicate and the Iraqi Ministry of Municipalites,” Lamy told IraqiNews.com news agency. He pointed out that the “allocation of patches of land for the journalists, does not stand counter to the housing units, that shall be built for distribution on Iraq journalists in Baghdad’s Karkh and Rusafa Banks on both sides of River Tigris, because the Syndicate had completed all measures related to that, in the light of the Prime Minister‘s approval to cover all journalists, residing in Baghdad for more than 5 years.
