PM to continue developing Shiite shrines

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister on Wednesday said that he will continue developing Shiite shrines in Iraq. “Shrines are an important part of Iraq’s history and sanctities,” al-Maliki said while visiting the area around the Kadhimiya Shiite shrine in Baghdad. He said that Shiite shrines compose “the image of new Iraq.” Parliamentary election will occur in Iraq on March 7, 2010. MH (S)/SR 1
