President, PM, Shiite cleric most salient in 2008 – survey

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Baghdad Magazine on Sunday published a survey that shows President Jalal Talabani, Premier Nouri al-Maliki, and the head of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council (SIIC) Sayyid Abdul Aziz al-Hakim were the most prominent figures in Iraq in 2008. “The survey’s list of candidates embraced 24 figures,” the Magazine reported. “Five scales were employed as primary measures to determine the survey,” it added.
