Red Crescent provides services to Shiite pilgrims in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Red Crescent started executing a plan on Friday to serve Shiite pilgrims in Karbala. “The Red Crescent has recruited 17 units to achieve this goal,” Ahmed Abdulameer Abdulrahman, director of the Red Crescent office in Karbala, told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that 150 volunteers are helping the Red Crescent in Karbala accomplishing the plan. The holy city of Karbala lies 110 km southwest of Baghdad. MH (P)/SH 1
