Red Mercury, 80 antique pieces seized

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Commander of Wassit Police announced today that police forces captured three persons trading with “internationally forbidden” red mercury mid of Kut city.   General Hussein Abdul Hadi told IraqiNews.com that the police forces captured with them one kilogram of the material.   On the other hand, the police also seized four persons having more than 80 antique pieces ready for smuggling abroad, in addition to a medical assistance having smuggled medicines and drugs.   Kut city, center of Wassit province, lies 180 km south east of the capital, Baghdad.     RM (TS)/SR  366
